Workshop Description:
Change your students' learning experiences by tapping into the wonderful world of Media Literacy. This workshop is designed for teachers who are interested in using digital storytelling both in their teaching and to meet curriculum expectations from various subject areas through student presentations. We will investigate websites such as Flickr and YouTube and how these sites can be used in conjunction with Microsoft Photo Story 3 or Windows Movie Maker 2; for teachers: to add visual enhancements to lessons; for students: to add engagement and creativity in their presentations. Use digital storytelling to help make learning fun!
